Sunday Zoo trip

Last Sunday we decided to take the kids to the zoo. It turned out to be a very hot day. We still had a great time and thankfully the kids didn't get burned. Our friend/neighbor went with us so it was 3 adults for 3 kids. Pretty good odds. The kids behaved and wore themselves out. Actually, we were all exhausted by the time we got home.

Makayla's favorite animal has always been the bears. This one seriously looked like it was dead. It was so hot he was panting and had his tongue hanging out.

It was really hot. A snack of popcorn kept the kids going for a little longer. This was towards the end and the kids were looking a little rough.
