After school snack and a sick little helper

Makayla stayed home with fever today. I'm happy to report her fever has gone down now but she still needs today to recover. I'm using the day at home to catch up on some much needed cleaning.

I decided to bake some cookies for the kids after school snack and Makayla begged to help. I didn't really want to pass on the germs so I gave her the task of pouring the chocolate chips. I figured she wouldn't actually touch them so the germs should be contained.

I exercised some serious self control and only ate one small cookie.
