The boy has been very sick since he got home yesterday. He's had a high fever and has felt awful so he stayed home today. When I picked up the girls I noticed Makayla had a huge stuffed dolphin in her arms. During the morning the school PTO pulled her name in a drawing for participating in the school fundraiser. She won the dolphin!
So now I have one very happy kid, one very sick kid and one very unhappy kid. Macie is upset because earlier in the week they pulled the boys name for a small stuffed lion keychain. She is feeling left out so I'm having to explain to her that it's just the luck of the draw.
