We had planned to go to the beach several times this summer. It didn't happen. Thankfully we were able to squeeze in a trip this weekend though. The weather was perfect! The sky was incredible and the beach was the cleanest I think I have ever seen it. The waves were ridiculously rough. You could practically surf right at the sand.
I'm so glad we went. The kids and I are truly happy when standing with sand and ocean between our toes. This weekend was perfect. Two straight days of friends and fun. It was very hard to pull the kids out of bed this morning. Our bodies are still exhausted. So worth it though.
