Happy

I had a wonderful birthday. It started off as a regular day and then through out the day I received tons of texts, calls and online postings wishing me a happy day. And it was.

After the kids got home my neighbor took them next door to bake a cake. They ended up baking me two cakes and occasionally ran back over here to inform me that they were making me the best cake EVER! It really was the best cake ever. So good. After the kids were in bed we ordered Pizza Hut wings ( our favorite food ever) and watched Death at a Funeral. If you haven't seen that movie I would suggest you RUN to the nearest Redbox. It was hysterical.

It was a very simple and quiet birthday but oh so good. Hubs and I stayed up till 1:00a.m joking, laughing and just spending time together. We have been doing that a lot and I cherish each night I get to spend having fun with the one person who truly gets me.

The boy loved the cake so much that he eventually moved on to his sisters plates when they were not looking. A happy day indeed. :)

  1. Happy to hear you ended up having a great birthday. Despite somebody who tried to mess it up. The cakes look yummy!!!

Of course Mason ate his sisters' cake, they always eat each other and other people's food!
