How we brought in the new year

Last night I put the kids to bed and they were all fast asleep by 8:00. Then hubby came home from looking at cars with his mom and brought fireworks for the kids. So he went into their room and woke them up. The girls got up but the boy rolled back over and went to bed. After those fireworks were done hubs went and got some more and this time he got the boy up too. SO GLAD HE DID! The kids had a blast and keep asking when we can do it again.


The boy had been sweating bad while sleeping so his hair was all wet and he was freezing for the first few minutes. The girls were trying to keep him all bundled and warm together. Awwww.

The sparklers and fire crackers were the kids favorites. The boy was afraid to hold the sparklers at first but started getting over it. He kept telling his sisters " Don't set the house on fire." I am really glad that we woke up three sleeping kids. It turned out to be a great night for all of us. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
