The last four days

The last few days have been a flurry of activity. Thursday night my brother-in-law came in from out of state and surprised the kids. It was a wonderful reunion since they have missed him so very much these past 6 months.

Then Friday he came back and this time brought my niece. They stayed a while and then my mother-in-law came down to see everyone. We ordered pizza and just enjoyed the rare time with all of us together.

Saturday we went to my aunts house and celebrated Mother's Day. Then Sunday morning was church followed by a birthday BBQ for hubs and then a night showing of the Avengers for me and a friend as my Mother's Day gift. The movie was great and I definitely enjoyed the time out.

Today we went to visit my friend who had emergency surgery last week. She is doing great so the boy and I stopped and bought her some flowers.

I'm looking forward to slowing down the next few days.
