Craft Day: Kids Art

We ended up with 2 planned crafts for the kids. The first were these adorable paper ornaments. They were black and then you take a wooden skewer and rub the black off revealing the pretty colors. The kids had a blast and it proved to be the perfect craft for in between paint drying times for the other craft.

The bigger craft we had for them was to make a cupcake ornament. Again I found the idea on YouTube. These were so much fun. Each kid made theirs different but there really isn't a certain way you have to make them. I also made one and took it to the school nurse the day before our craft day.

The kids had an absolute blast doing these. Of course we labeled and dated the bottoms so we can always know whose was whose.
